Hat Trick For Shrewsbury PR Firm

Shrewsbury-based PR consultancy Parker Ward has scored a business ‘hat-trick’ by winning three new clients in three weeks.

Just weeks after clinching a contract to provide media and public relations services to Telford-based Busch (UK), Parker Ward has won contracts to provide similar services to two other leading companies, Yorkshire-based data management specialists Switch2 Limited and financial business software developers, Risk Free Limited of Telford.

These latest three contract wins are the latest in a series of business wins for Parker Ward that has seen the consultancy double its fee income in six months and managing director, Tim Ward, is forecasting even faster growth ahead.

“We are in one of the toughest and most competitive of businesses and we are usually up against much bigger consultancies from Birmingham, Manchester and London but the team of talented people we have here have showed that they are more than a match for any of them. It proves once again that highly skilled people are the real key to success.

“We are on course to almost treble our PR turnover by the end of the year and the hunt to find more talented people to join the team is already under way,” Tim Ward said.

Parker Ward Clinches Communications Contract

Shrewsbury-based consultancy Parker Ward has been appointed to handle marketing communications for international vacuum pump manufacturers, Busch (UK).

Parker Ward’s PR team will provide Telford-based Busch (UK) with a programme of media and public relations.

Tim Ward, Parker Ward’s managing director, said: “Busch (UK) is an international leader in its field and winning the PR contract is a feather in our cap.

“It proves once again that big, international companies based in Shropshire don’t have to head for London and other major cities to find the marketing communications skills and experience they need. It’s right here, on their doorstep.”

Busch (UK)’s marketing manager, Melissa Kelly-Jones, said: “Tim Ward is right, we are a big company operating around the world but we understand that geography has nothing to do with talent. Shropshire has a highly skilled marketing communications community – Parker Ward illustrates that point perfectly - and it makes good business sense to plug into it.”
